Monte Solaio is about sharing of the knowledge and tradition of our community. It’s the passion for winemaking and respect for the gifts from our land. It’s taking care of the fruit of a passionate and meticulous work, where everything is interconnected in a very intense bond. The whites of the Metalliferous Hills of Campiglia Marittima express the essentiality of the Val Di Cornia.

We can offer all year around wine tasting here at Monte Solaio: our panoramic terrace is a proper stage overlooking the magnificent Tuscan countryside, with the rolling hills of Campiglia Marittima at the back and the blue Mediterranean Sea in front of us, along the Tuscan Coast. In the winter months we have a warm and welcoming wine tasting room, full of memento of our tradition and our countryside. The typical beamed ceiling and the traditional fireplace make it a unique and special place where to taste all our products.
The Winery
where our wines are born
Since its construction, Monte Solaio cellar has been perceived for what it really should have been (and is): a practical and functional workplace. It’s not a window, not a comfortable or welcoming place for wine lovers, but it’s the engine of a company that dedicate all its effort in working the land for the production of wine and olive oil. Its peculiarity is the complete integration with the territory, its total respect, as the rest of the company is. Its walls are made from a local stone that has been used more than once and are conceived to be a natural part of the surrounding panorama, to be disguised in it.
