This single-variety vinified in barriques is of an intense ruby red color tending to purple, a full bodied, aromatic wine with a light and characteristic herbaceous flavour, rich in tannins and balsamic aromas. A wine naturally predisposed to medium-long aging.
It is the perfect combination with wild boar, beef and long-aged cheeses, or with soups of typical Tuscan cuisine.
